Saracens target Oilers scalp in Nakuru showdown

Impala Saracens head coach Mitch Ocholla says they are aiming to bounce back to winning ways when they take on Menengai Oilers in a Kenya Cup fixture this weekend at the Moi Showground, Nakuru.

Saracens were on the losing end last weekend falling to Kenya Harlequins.

Saracens missed their first two matches after they had opted out of the Kenya Cup but resumed last weekend with a 27-20 loss against Quins with Ocholla optimistic of performing better in the upcoming matches.

“I don’t think our opponents will have an advantage over us since we have been preparing and I hope to get positive results against Oilers this weekend after losing against Quins last weekend,” said Mitch.

“Quins have played two more matches than us but I’m confident we’ll have positive results in our next matches against Oilers and KCB RFC,” he added.

Meanwhile Ocholla believes they can win the Kenya Cup this season after finishing third last season, and will be challenging for the honours.

“Basically we’ve got to improve from where we left last season and our target this season is to go for the trophy,” said Ocholla.
