Seda will excel at Kariobangi Sharks, Mbungo assures

After landing an appointment as the new assistant coach at Kariobangi Sharks, AFC Leopards player Ezekiel Seda will with no doubt make a tremendous impact under head coach William Muluya.

Leopards head coach Rwandese Casa Mbungo has congratulated Seda for the new role which has followed his decision to quit professional football due to a stubborn knee injury.

Mbungo has tipped Seda to shine at Sharks nodding that today he joins the slum boys but who knows tomorrow he will be at Leopards on a coaching role.

“I have not used him as a player because since I joined Leopards, I found him nursing an injury.

He is though somebody with a good heart with leadership skills because I have been watching him in training,” he recommended.

Seda re-joined Ingwe in June 1st last year from Mathare United on a three-year contract which would have tied him at the den until 2020 July 1st.

Sharks on its official website announced the acquisition of Seda as the new senior team assistant coach.

It read,

“OFFICIAL: NEW ASSISTANT COACH FOR THE CLUB

The Club is pleased to announce Ezekiel Seda as the new senior team assistant coach. He takes over the role with immediate effect.

Seda shall deputise coach William in what is his first managerial role.
We look forward to his contribution towards the project at our club”.

“Coaching is a nice field and when a player changes his profession to coaching, the only thing that becomes new is twisting your mentality into that of a teacher. He is now mandated to teach and not being taught, which he is capable of ,” Casa added.

While at Leopards, Seda had a tough task to battle it out for the same position on the pitch with Duncan Otieno, Wyvonne Isuza, Victor Majid and Marvin Omondi
