Serani set up Moi Forces final at Mombasa Games

Moi Forces Academy and Serani Boys will battle it out in both the under 16 and 19 categories of Mombasa County Secondary School games football finals tomorrow after winning their respective semi finals in both categories on Friday.

In the Under-16, Serani went past Khamis High by 1-0 as Moi Forces Academy beat Shika Adabau Boys by 2-1.

In the Under-19, favourites Serani thrashed Mwakirunge Secondary by 6-0 as Moi Forces edged Bomu Secondary by 1-0.

Moi Forces Under 19 coach Felix Wamalwa assured Serani a tough battle in the final where they will battle for the only ticket to the Regional Games.

“They are good but it will not be an easy ride we will fight them to the last minute,” Wamalwa said.

Elsewhere St Charles Lwanga from Changamwe Sub County white washed their neighbours Miritini Secondary 37-12 to book regional slot in Netball.

Caleb Amani who is coaching the girls said, “We are very ready for any opponent in the Regionals where last year we made some mistakes but we will rectify them this time round.”

The winners will represent Mombasa County in Regional games end of June in Malindi.
