Serena Williams angry after US Open semi-final exit
Serena Williams gave a succession of short, angry answers to journalists after her defeat to Roberta Vinci in the US Open semi-finals.
The world number one was in no mood to speak to reporters following the shock loss and seemed fed up with the line of questioning.
The defeat ended Serena Williams’ chances of winning her first ever calendar Grand Slam.
“I don’t want to talk about how disappointing it is for me, if you have any other questions I’m open for that,” said Serena.
When a reporter asked her if there was ever a moment where he questioned his ability, Serena answered a flat “NO”.
“I told you guys I don’t feel pressure, I never feel pressure, I think I’ve never felt that pressure to win here, I said that from the beginning,” said Serena Williams.
