

The national women’s football team, Harambee Starlets, cruised into the semi-finals of the ongoing CECAFA women tournament after humiliating Djibouti 12-0 on Tuesday afternoon in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
Vihiga Queens midfielder Jentrix Shikangwa ran the show in the match as she found the back of the net four times while Mwanahalima “Dogo” Adam and Mercy Airo both hit hat tricks.
Other goals were scored by Vivian Makhokha and Janet Bundi as Starlets won their second successive match at the regional tourney after beating Ethiopia 2-0 on Sunday.
Starlets are scheduled to face Uganda Crested Cranes in their last group B match on Thursday with the semi-final matches slated for November 23.
The finals of the annual showpiece will be staged at the Chamazi Stadium on November 25.
