Shujaa face Spain in London 7s Challenge Trophy
The national rugby sevens team Shujaa missed out on a London Main Cup quarter-finals slot after going down 38-12 to England 38-12 in a dominant performance from the hosts.
Consequently, Shujaa dropped to the Challenge Trophy where they will play Spain on Sunday at 11.52am (EAT) after finishing third with five points in Pool C.
The Shujaa and their English opponents had needed wins in what was the final group match for both with eyes on a Cup quarterfinals place.

However England equalised with five consecutive tries that went unanswered to knock out Kenya out of the Cup quarter’s.
Dan Norton went over for a five pointer down the left wing before Mike Ellery adding his name on the score sheet to hand England a 17-7 lead at the intervals.
England added salt to the Kenya’s wounds after the break as the in form Hague and Ellery sealed their braces, going over for two converted tries to send the home side 31-7 up.
England added another converted try to their tally before Kenya Harlequins flanker Herman Humwa struck a late try as a consolation.
