Shujaa fall to Samoa in playoff
Kenya national rugby team lost their ninth place quarter final match 28-19 against Samoa at the Dignity Health Sports Park Carson, California.
Paul Feeney’s charges scored three tries converting two against Samoa’s four converted tries.
Shujaa scored their tries through Vincent Onyala brace and Samuel Oliech Daniel Taabu converting two tries.
Samoa got their tries through Uaina Sione brace and David Afamasaga, Elisapeta Alafipo while Tomasi Alosio and Melani Matarao added the extras.
Kenya won one of their Pool B matches defeating Ireland 29-12 but lost two matches against South Africa and Canada (31-5) and (24-00) respectively.
