On Saturday, Kakamega Homeboyz condemned Tusker to another defeat in their home turf, with two goals on either side of the half, to wrap up the points for Mike Mururi’s side.

It is a weekend that would have seen the Mashemeji Derby, pitting the eternal rivalry between Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards take place, but the eagerly anticipated match was postponed by the KPL to avail players for national team duty.

With the weekend implications, Gor, still rooted at the summit on 31 points, and enjoying a three-point cushion, with four games in hand, have a healthy chance of making the chase for the title a procession should they win all the four games.
