Shujaa have been drawn against hosts Spain, France, USA, Argentina and Portugal with the tourney based on round robin circuit with the best teams qualifying for the knockout stage.

Kenya rugby sevens team Shujaa will kick off their invitational Madrid Sevens tournament in Spain against France this weekend.

Shujaa have been drawn against hosts Spain, France, USA, Argentina and Portugal with the tourney based on round robin circuit with the best teams qualifying for the knockout stage.

The match against France will be played on Saturday at 1:50pm after which they face Portugal at 4:35 pm and wrap up day one action against USA at 7:20pm (EAT).

On Sunday they’ll confront hosts Spain at 1:28 pm then conclude the round robin circuit against Argentina at 4:13 pm (EAT).

On the other hand Lionesses will open their campaign against Russia then face USA, France, host Spain and Poland using the same round robin circuit.

The match against Russia will be played at 12:22 pm, USA at 2:45 pm and end day one with a match against France at 5:30 pm (EAT).

On day two they’ll face Spain at 12:22 pm with their last round robin match coming against Poland at 3:29 pm (EAT).

This will be the first time the two Kenyans teams will be in action since the outbreak of Covid 19 pandemic.
