Samurai Select are the defending champions after beating nationwide side Northern Suburns 20-7 to clinch the 2017 title.

Royal Media Services Limited through its radio brands – HOT 96, Wimwaro FM and video- on-demand platform VIUSASA– have partnered with the organisers  Embu Rugby Football Club. Early tickets retail at Sh 200.
