Stima shock Leopards as KCB down Bandari

Western Stima hit a pair quickfire goals in stoppage time as they snapped AFC Leopards’ perfect start to the FKF Premier League season with a 2-0 victory at the Kasarani Annex on Friday.

The visitors put in a dogged performance against Leopards who were seeking to make four wins out of four and a late break allowed Joseph Mukisa to slot home three minutes inside stoppage time.

And there was still time for Villa Orumchun to guarantee the victory with virtually the last kick of the ball.

KCB FC, the only FKF PL side with a 100% start to their campaign, took advantage of Leopards’ slip by edging Bandari FC 2-1 in Mombasa to open an early three-point gap at the summit of the table.

Former Wazito FC striker Derrick Otanga scored the opening goal in the 31st minute to put the KCB in front as they went for the break leading the game.

The hosts had to wait until the 80th minute when captain Benard Odhiambo equalised only for David Ambulu to score a winning goal in injury time.
