The return of Muhiddin!

Veteran coach Twahir Muhiddin has made a sensational return to the dugout as caretaker coach of Bandari FC.

Muhiddin’s appointment follows Monday  mid-morning meeting with the team’s board of trustees following the sacking of coach Bernard Mwalala.

Muhiddin, an old-hand in the game who has handled the team in three different spells, will be in charge until the end of the season.

The club hierarchy confirmed his appointment in a brief statement, noting that the changes take immediate effect.

“The board of trustees of Bandari FC has asked the Head coach Bernard Mwalala to step aside due to the poor performance of the club recently.

‘The board, therefore appointed the current Technical Director, Twahir Muhiddin as the caretaker coach with immediate effect,” the club said in a statement signed by the chairman of the board of trustees Musa Hassan Musa.

Meanwhile, sacked Bernard Mwalala has wished the team well saying it was an honour to work with the club.
