AFC Leopards secretary general Oliver Sikuku has fired a stern warning to 2020-2021 FKF Premier League rivals to prepare for fireworks from the Ingwe den when the new season commences on Nov 28.

Sikuku believes the big cats have a playing unit capable of ending the 22-year wait for the gong.

“We are prepared. We are working very hard to make sure that we are winning the cup this season,”Sikuku said, adding that, “This is our season.”

Ingwe have beefed up their squad with 13 new recruits as well as strengthening the technical bench by appointing new head coach Tomas Trucha from Czech Republic who is deputized by Antony ‘Modo’ Kimani.

Sikuku has at the same time stressed the importance of coach-players’ unity if the team is to attain its title dream.

The Ingwe executive is also calling on the fans to offer unwavering support to the team.

“We don’t want to put pressure on coach alone but it should be team work between the coaches and the players. Mutual understanding is key to our success,” Sikuku said. “We want to ask our fans to support the team to be well prepared for the war ahead.”
