Top Fry come out tops in Nakuru derby, KCB floor Saracens

Mitch Ocholla charges scored seven tries; converting four, plus a penalty, against Oilers’ five tries; converting three plus two penalties.

Top Fry flanker Causious Omollo collected a drop kick to run to the goal line with scrum half Geoffrey Ominde easily converting for a 7-0 lead.

Oilers however hit back through fly half Moses Arara who scored an unconverted try after stealing possession from the hosts to score in the goal line to make it 7-5.

Oilers went ahead to assume the lead through Augustine after a one two play, with Chrispine Shitundo scoring before Kennedy Mwangi converted.

The visiting side was awarded a penalty try by the referee to lead 19-12 at half time after Edwin Makori had collected the ball from the maul to score an unconverted try.

Outside centre Chrispine Shitundo then put his name on the try board at the start of the second half after a nice handling from his team’s attack, converting the try to make it 26-12 for the visitors.
