Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has seemingly ruled out the possibility of the German club signing Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.

Speaking to Kicker, Hoeness outlined how Bayern’s transfer strategy is to build a side for the future by signing promising young players rather than ’29 or 30-year-olds’.

Sanchez has one year remaining on his contract but has doubts over his future after the Gunners failed to qualify for the Champions League.

The champions will consider a loan move away from Stamford Bridge for outcast striker Diego Costa.

The blues are also interested in signing Jérôme Boateng from Bayern Munich
