Tusker Coach Nsimbe frustrated by Situma red card

Tusker FC Head Coach George ‘Best’ Nsimbe was left frustrated as his skipper James Situma was sent off during their 2-2 Kenyan Premier League stalemate with Sofapka FC last Sunday.

Situma will sit out to serve his red card suspension with his counterpart at Bandari FC, Wilson Obungu, also suffering a similar fate when the Costal-based side tackled Ulinzi Stars.

As a result, Bandri who lost 2-1 to Ulinzi will be forced to do without their first choice custodian at the Mbaraki Stadium this weekend as they prepare to entertain Thika United.

The match will be one of two that have been scheduled to be played at the stadium with AFC Leopards versus Muhoroni Youth set to held at the same venue.

The Brewers host Ulinzi at Nakurus’ Afraha Stadium on Saturday at 2:00pm local time (+3GMT) and will be aiming for only their second win in five KPL matches.

The defending champions have had an underwheliming sxtart to their season, having already missed out on two titles this year.

They lost the Super Cup finals 1-0 to domestic giants Gor Mahia FC just weeks after suffereing a preliminary stage exit at the CAF Champions League.
