Tusker’s double-double prove too much for the Leopards
AFC Leopards winning streak came to a screeching halt in dramatic fashion after falling 4-2 to Tusker in a tough Kenyan Premier League match played under muddy conditions on a rain-swept Kericho Green Stadium on Monday evening.
Former Gor Mahia man Timothy Otieno bagged and Whyvonne Isuza bagged a brace each to hand the brewers under Ugandan Sam Timbe the sweet savoured win while Leopards scored through Isaac Oduro.
Leopards, however, paid the heavy price in the match after goalie Gabriel Andika was given his marching orders in the 30th minute.
A victory would have hauled Leopards to the summit of the league table on 19 points.
