Tuyisenge hails Oliech, Kahata

Gor Mahia striker Jaques Tuyisenge has hailed the impact of former Harambee Stars Captain Dennis Oliech saying he helped him become a complete striker.

Tuyisenge, who is leaving Gor Mahia to Angolan powerhouse Petro Atletico, says Oliech’s experience will be missed by the national football team Harambee Stars when they travel to Egypt for the Africa Nations Cup.

“He was like a big brother to me,” Tuyisenge told Citizen Digital.

“He used to push me to give everything on the pitch because he believed in my potential of succeeding in my career.”

“Having played at the highest level in his career, many players look up to him for inspiration myself included, I will forever be thankful to him for his advice,” he said.

The Rwandese striker also took time to praise midfielder Francis Kahata terming him as the most creative midfielder he has ever worked with.

Kahata is expected to leave Gor at the end of the month with reports indicating he could be headed to Simba Fc in Tanzania.

“He is the most creative player I have ever played alongside; he knew my runs and where to place the ball that always made my work easy.

No top striker in this World functions better without creative brains in the midfield and Kahata is one special player that any club will want to have,” he added.

The departing goal machine had kind world to his striking partner Nicolas Kipkirui:

“Kipkirui has a bright future at Gor Mahia and for the national team; he is a team player and always willing to learn from his senior.

If he continues that way he will go far, he just needs to work on his finishing skills a little bit then all will be well he is on great striker to partner with,” the departing striker concluded.
