Jacques Tuyisenge’s last gasp goal catapulted Gor Mahia to the apex of the KPL log after sinking Bandari 1-0 in Kisumu Tuesday.

The hard earned victory took K’Ogalo’s points tally to 49 points, one more than second placed Sofapaka.

Losing Bandari remain third on the table on 45 points as the fight for the KPL gong remain tight.

Gor can however still widen their lead at the top of the table as they have three games in hand compared to Sofapaka, their closest challengers.

Gor coach Hassan Oktay made sweeping changes in a bid to freshen up the squad with the goalscorer in the 1-1 draw against Ulinzi Stars, Dennis Oliech starting on the bench and so were Francis Mustapha, Kenneth Muguna and Ernest Wendo.

Philemon Otieno, who picked an injury against Ulinzi Stars two days ago had Wellington Ochieng replacing him at right back.
