U-23 Women Volleyball team ready for Slovakia-Lungaho

The Kenya Under 23 women volleyball journey to the Slovakia World Championships is well on course, head coach David Lung’aho has said.
The team went into non residential training camp on last Friday at the Nairobi’s Nyayo National stadium outdoor court, to prepare championships slated for August 27 to September 3rd.
Speaking to Citizen Digital,  Lung’aho expressed his satisfaction with the team’s progress, adding he expects top every member to be in top form by the time global event begins.
“The training started on June 23rd, and so far so good. I know we are going to do great in the World Championship.
“I have confidence with the players and I expect them to be ripe enough to represent Kenya in next Olympic games (in Tokyo Japan 2020),” Lung’aho charged.
Kenya secured a ticket to the World Championships after finishing second in Africa, behind Egypt.
