Unbeaten Leicester displace Man Utd with Villa win

Leicester City’s resilience in the Premier League continued as they came from two goals down to see off Aston Villa 3-2 in a match played at King Power Stadium on Sunday.

Jack Grealish curled in the opener from 20 yards marking his first goal for Villa with Carles Gil scoring the second.

Coach Claudio Ranieri’ side however pulled a comeback through Ritchie de Let and Jamie Vardy’s goals.

Nathan Dyer then sealed the victory for Leicester with a late header, giving him his first goal since signing from Swansea on loan on deadline day.

The win stretches Leicester’s unbeaten run this season to 5 placing them second on the log with 11 points one more than Manchester United and four behind leaders Manchester City.

Aston Villa remain with only one win from five outings this season, a position that hasn’t augured well with former Tottenham Coach Tim Sherwood.

In his post match press briefing Sherwood said he had “never felt this bad” stating that his team let a two- goal lead slip.

Villa, standing at 15th with 4 points, have conceded a total of 14 goals in their last away league games.
