Ushuru kept alive their slim hopes of a Kenyan Premier League promotion slot with a 2-0 win over Mt. Kenya United at the Camp Toyoyo grounds in Nairobi in one of the National Super League round of 27 matches played Saturday.

In another match played at the same venue, Vihiga United beat Kibera Black Stars 3-0.

Victor Ademba netted a goal in the 42nd minute while Alex Imbusia added another, five  minutes after the break before Dennis Wafula wrapped up the afternoon with the third in the  62nd minute.
