The Kenya Women’s Premier League champions Vihiga Queens will have their title coronation on Saturday when they play their final match of the season against Trans Nzoia Falcons at the Kitale Stadium.

They have amassed an unassailable nine-point lead over second-placed Gaspo Women who could be caught by Trans Nzoia if they can upset the champions.

Coach Alex Alumira has urged Vihiga Queens’ fans to turn up in large numbers to celebrate with the team.

Meanwhile, Two playoff matches have been lined up to determine the overall Women Div One champion as well as the third-placed team that will also earn promotion to the WPL.

Zone B champions Nakuru West Queens will square it out with their Zone A counterparts Kahawa Queens to determine the overall winner in a match set to kick off at 1 pm.
