Vihiga sack Mike Mururi and deputies after poor KPL run
Vihiga United has cracked the whip sacking head coach Mike Mururi and his assistants Tom Tera and Francis Xavier over a poor run in the Kenyan Premier League.
Club president Indimuli Kahi says the trio have been shown the door due to dismal performance.
According to Kahli, a caretaker coach and deputy will be unveiled on Thursday noting that the move is aimed at saving the team from relegation.
“We appeal to fans not to lose hope but continue supporting the team avoid the chop,”Khali said in a statement.
United are placed 16th on the KPL log on 20 points from 24 matches, having lost all their last four matches.
