Wakhu leads as KCB Road to Masters takes shape in Nakuru

Twenty-four pros and over 100 amateurs will be battling for top honours at the event.
Golfers CJ, Wangai, Greg Snow, Dismas Indiza, Thika Sports Club pro Simon Ngige, Golf Park duo of David Wakhu and Jacob Okello, Royal’s Eric Ooko, and Elisha Kasuku, are some of the top golfers in action today.
Wakhu shoot an impressive 5 under par 68 gross to restrict Mumias long-hitter Dismas Indiza to second place. He sank two birdies in the first nine followed by another two on the 12th and 13th.
Nakuru golf captain Hilary Korir is delighted with high turnout at the event.
“We thank KCB Bank for sponsoring this event which is crucial for sharpening of golfers skills,” said Korir.
The overall winner, and winners in the men, ladies, staff, guest and wildcard categories will earn automatic tickets to the KCB Karen Masters slated for June 25-30
