Wazito to test might against Moyas FC in NSL

Wazito FC travel to Moyas FC for the fourth round of the National Super League (NSL) campaign hoping to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat away to Oserian on Tuesday.

Moyas FC will hope they can inflict further damage to the Nairobi-based side who have lost two of their last consecutive matches.

The NSL table toppers Vihiga United travel to Nakuru’s Afraha Stadium on Sunday for a tricky fixture against Nakuru All Stars who have recovered from a poor start to draw and win their last two games in what will be a tight affair between a team hoping to cement their place at the summit against the team that was relegated from the top flight last season.

Vihiga’s Patrick Okulo who drew his side level in their last fixture against Nakumatt FC rallied his teammates to stay focused warning that they need to be sharp against opponents who won without kicking a ball following the walk over they were awarded over West Kenya Sugar.

“We do not feel intimidated by any team. However we need to be careful during this next match and whether they’re (Nakumatt) below or above us in the league we’ll need to stay focused throughout the match,” he cautioned.

Ligi Grounds shall host the much anticipated fixture between Nairobi-based sides Ligi Ndogo and Kariobangi Sharks and the team that prides in having contributed two players to the national team will be looking to topple either Zoo Kericho or Nairobi Stima from the top four.

Retailers Nakumatt FC continue their campaign on Saturday when they host Modern coast Rangers in a clash that kicks-off concurrently with KCB’s visit Agro Chemicals.

Palos of Kisumu entertain St. Joseph’s who are yet to win a match this campaign.

All matches start at the same time (1600hrs) with the exception of Saturday’s early kick-off between Moyas FC vs Wazito FC starts earlier at 1500hrs.
