Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has moved to assure the playing unit and the K’Ogalo nation that the allowances and bonuses will be paid on time.

Rachier’s remarks come just a day after head coach Hassan Oktay made a clarion call to the club hierarchy to ensure the team’s spirit is not broken by delayed arrears.

His remarks were made in the wake of their qualification for the CAF- Confederations Cup group stages after defeating New Star de Douala of Cameroon, 2-1 on aggregate.

“I haven’t met the players since they arrived from Cameroon and travelled Tanzania, but will be meeting them tomorrow (Wednesday) for a talk on how we are going to sort them out.

“I’m very proud of what the boys have done so far, we will ensure that we accord them maximum support to ensure they go as far as possible in the competition,” assured Rachier.

K’Ogalo are in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania for this year’s edition of the Super Cup.

Gor won the maiden edition in 2017 and went on to defend the crown in Nakuru last season with a 2-0 win over Tanzanian titans Simba SC .
