Gor Mahia’s dependable midfielder Ernest Wendo will be available for selection when K’Ogalo travel to Tanzania’s commercial capital Dar es Salaam for their Caf- Confederations Group D return match against giants Yanga.

Wendo missed the first leg at Kasarani last Wednesday with an injury where Gor hammered Yanga 4-0  to stretch their points tally to five, two adrift of group leaders USM Algers.

Gor fly out this Friday for the rematch to be played on Sunday from 7pm at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Club deputy secretary general Ronald Ngala also said that their Burundian defender Karim Nzigyimana is fully recovered and training with the team, adding that it will be upon the coach to consider him for the match.

Nzigyimana has been out since October last year, when he picked an injury in their league match against Mathare United.

The Kenyan giants, fresh from hammering their traditional arch- rivals AFC Leopards 2-1 in a Kenyan Premier League match last Sunday, will be chasing for an outright victory to boost their quest of getting out of the group.

Yanga sit bottom of the group with one point having drawn one and lost two.  The group winner and runners up earn a ticket to the quarters.

Gor have an advantage over Yanga having beaten them in the first-leg and could go top of Group D should the group leader USM Algers falter in their return match against Rwanda’s Rayon Sport in Algiers.
