Zambia jets in ahead of Harambee Stars clash

The Zambian National Football team, Chipolopolo, are expected in the country Friday morning for the Africa Cup of Nations 2017 Qualifier against Harambee Stars.

The match is set to be played at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi on Sunday at 4PM.

Chipolopolo are currently ranked 74th in the world FIFA ranking while Harambee Stars are ranked 116th in the world and 35th in Africa.

The team will proceed to hold a training session at Ruaraka at 3PM and have a feel of the match venue Saturday morning.

Meanwhile, Striker Dennis Oliech makes a return to the squad after a long absence in the cold. Oliech who plays for Al Nasser in Saudi Arabia is one of the 15 international players called to the stars squad which also comprises of 15 local-based players.

Ahead of the crucial match, Harambee Stars has experienced adjustments to its Technical Bench with Sofapaka assistant coach and Harambee starlets head coach David Ouma coming in as an assistant to Head Coach Bobby Williamson.

Former AFC Leopards team manager Willis Waliaula also comes on board as the team manager in place of Simon Mulama who resigned from the position in April this year.

Harambee Stars who began their training on Tuesday will face a well prepared Zambian side that has been in camp for 20 days.
